Virginia Remote Online Notary (RON)
Virginia is one of the original states to authorize Remote Online Notarization. Remote Online Notarization allows eligible signers to meet with a Virginia-commissioned online notary through a secure audio-video platform, without needing to be physically located in Virginia. Eligibility and document requirements may vary. Common uses include real estate documents, POAs, affidavits, and titles. RON sessions are securely recorded.
